When building a multi vendor online marketplace on the WordPress platform we have found over the years that product category management for the marketplace administrator can be very difficult at times trying to control which vendors can add which products to which categories. Lets give you an example, vendor A has their own category they add their products to which presents their online shop store and vendor B has their own category which represents their own shop store. At the moment there is now way to stop vendor A from adding to Vendor B’s category and vis versa, this can cause a major headache for the marketplace administrator.
